Camp Kay Outfitters is proud to offer you semi-guided whitetail hunts in south-central Ohio close to the Ohio River and Kentucky in the Appalachian foothills. We have secured 8,000+ acres of private land in Jackson, Pike, Scioto, and Vinton Counties with a mix of terrain including dense hardwoods and agricultural fields. These hunts are for serious trophy hunters looking to harvest a minimum 130"-150” class or larger buck. Our Counties also offer plenty of opportunity to harvest a Pope and Young or Boone and Crockett buck.
Camp Kay Outfitters is offering a limited number of hunts on our Ohio properties.
You may bring and place your own stand (no damage is allowed to the trees), or we can provide you with a stand that is already placed. Jeff Riley (740-250-4924) will be your host and guide for our Ohio whitetail and turkey hunts. Our options for hunting these areas include archery, firearm, and muzzleloader. Guiding, the land, stand(s), and buck processing are included in the hunt. License, lodging, meals, and gratuity are not included. All of the deer are free roaming and our hunts are semi-guided. We will set you up in the areas that we feel present the best hunting opportunity for you to harvest a whitetail deer. The schedule for hunting is listed on the rates and dates page. All bow hunts are 6 1/2 days unless otherwise specified, firearm hunts are 7 or 3 days, and the muzzleloader hunt is 4 days. All hunts will include an arrival/ scouting day. A minimum 50% deposit will be due upon booking and your balance will need to be paid 60 days prior to your arrival date unless other arrangements have been made.
