This property is absolutely gorgeous. You won’t be able to gain a true appreciation until you walk this farm. This property has it all. There are huge hills, bluffs, streams, bottom fields, plenty of thickets and large tracts of mature hardwoods. Call us today before all the tracts are leased.
The following applies to this self guided hunt/lease only:
This property contains 18 tracts. 16 tracts totaling approximately 600 acres will be leased for self-guided hunts to a maximum of 10 hunters. The price per tract is
$750 and is subject to change in subsequent years. The average tract size is 30-40 acres. Please refer to the attached map of the property. This map will be used by all parties involved including the hunters, landowners, and Camp Kay Outfitters. Tract 12 is not currently available for lease. The first 5 hunters must choose 2 or more tracts that may be non-contiguous. The remaining tracts may be sold singularly to fill the remaining number of hunters and tracts not to exceed 10 hunters on 16 tracts. 2 hunters together must purchase at least 3 tracts. 3 hunters must purchase at least 5 tracts. Tracts can be leased from the outside in or inside out per hunter preference.
Tract 13 is required to be leased together with tract 14 or 8. Hunters would be given first right of refusal on their tracts for the following year but could also trade tracts with other hunters. Tracts will revert back to the landowner when hunters meet a harvest limit of 1 buck and 1 doe (2 deer total) per season year/ per hunter. If a hunter notifies us that he is done hunting for the year, the tract(s) will revert back to the landowner. Hunters must 'sign-in' and 'sign-out' at the map board upon arrival to and departure from the property for safety and communication. Contact information for all hunters, landowners, and Camp Kay Outfitters/ Mark Liebner will be available at this board for the benefit of all parties involved. Only Camp Kay Outfitters registered hunters will hunt the property- “No tagalongs”. All hunters will be required to sign a release waiver upon initial scouting of the property, and must keep their permission slip with their hunting license number visible inside their vehicle while hunting. Hunters must follow all Indiana Department of Natural Resources regulations while hunting. Hunters must not litter, or damage any trees on the property. Failure by hunters to comply with regulations set forth from Camp Kay Outfitters, the landowners, or Indiana Department of Natural Resources will result in automatic termination of hunting privileges with no refund. The 2011 season will be for deer hunting only. All harvested animals are property of the landowner/ Camp Kay Outfitters until they are properly checked in and released to the hunter. Camp Kay Outfitters/ Mark Liebner must receive digital photos of every buck harvested for documentation, herd management, marketing and promotion. The landowner will provide hunters with an explanation of parking and common trail restrictions “boundary lines” based on specific tracts. No Trespassing signs will be very visible to mark all outside boundary lines and reduce trespassing. Effective dates for hunting within this agreement would be limited to the Indiana deer hunting seasons. Potential hunters would be provided the opportunity for scouting and stand placement prior to October 1, but only with the permission though the landowners and Camp Kay Outfitters.
Franklin County Indiana- 17 ACRES
This 17 acre hunting area is a hunter’s paradise. It is situated at the end of a dead end road with a shelter on sight to provide refuge front the elements. On the North side of the property sits a marshy area where a pond once sat and is now a gully refuge for deer. The South side provides ample woods full of ridges and ravines to hunt. There is mature timber throughout and the property is defined by a fence line. Viewing the area from Google maps shows the property bordered by woods with one funnel area on the North side. The quality of this area combined with what borders the property will yield excellent potential for trophy whitetails.
This tract is available for 1-2 hunters and can be turkey hunted as well. This is an excellent value for $750. Please call Camp Kay Outfitters/ Mark Liebner for additional questions- 765-427-3228.
